We collaborate with networks and organizations, across sectors, to improve wellness in children and families.
Programs include supports for early care providers, a community-academic research partnership, streamlining referrals and coordination of services and improving economic conditions to reduce debt in low-wealth communities.
Roosevelt Early Learning Network
A collaborative space of local early care providers, technical assistance organizations and partner school districts to improve educational practices, family engagement, social-emotional learning through the Pyramid Model and increase access to developmental screenings with Help Me Grow! Long Island for children under the age of 5.
The Long Island Community-Academic Research Partnership (LICARP) is a community-academic research firm improving health outcomes with a focus on communities of color. Community-based participatory research model is utilized in our approach in addressing health inequities through equal partnerships between universities, health systems, schools and local residents.
Stop The Debt Spiral
Inspired by our partner agency, Community Organizing & Family Issues (Chicago), the campaign identifies and creates solutions to reducing the debt trap and improve credit inclusion. The campaign is a collaborative effort with the State of the Black Long Island convened by Urban League of Long Island.
